Biogen is seeking a Director, Country & Site Operations (CSO), Europe to lead clinical country and site operations across European countries, ensuring site performance, investigator engagement, affiliate collaboration, and sponsor oversight. You will supervise 5-8 direct reports and 15-25 matrixed resources, guiding strategy and execution for trials.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years in clinical development or clinical operations with country-facing and site-facing roles.
• Experience leading clinical operations across multiple countries or sub-regional clusters.
• Experience with global study teams, affiliates, Quality, CRO/FSP partners, and external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management in matrix environments.

Aufgaben

• Partner cross-functionally to align country/site strategies with trial planning and execution.
• Provide strategic leadership for clinical trial execution across Europe, ensuring delivery and risk management.
• Coach and develop CCSLs and country/site resources, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Represent CSO with investigators, research sites, and affiliate leadership to reinforce sponsor presence.
• Provide country/site intelligence for feasibility, recruitment insights, and operational risks.
• Support country/site selection, enrollment planning, and portfolio decision-making.
• Collaborate with CMLs, Site Managers, CRAs, FSPs, CROs to ensure effective oversight and quality execution.
• Contribute to CSO operating model governance, including IFM/SCOUT, and continuous improvement.
• Assist in resource and budget planning within assigned countries.
