Biogen, Inc. is seeking an experienced BIR Medical Lead, Lupus, to provide strategic medical leadership across the Lupus portfolio, aligning Global and PDC plans with regional needs, evidence generation, launch readiness, and lifecycle management.

You will build trusted relationships with medical experts, societies and patient groups, lead advisory boards and medical education initiatives, and translate insights into global strategies across affiliates and cross-functional teams.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced medical degree required and 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech sectors, including Medical Affairs leadership.
• Experience leading regional or global Medical Affairs efforts and collaborating with affiliate teams.
• Strong Lupus disease area knowledge and understanding of treatment landscapes.
• Ability to translate regional insights into global medical strategy, development, and evidence plans.

Aufgaben

• Lead regional medical strategy and execution across the Tau/portfolio, ensuring affiliate needs, stakeholder insights, and evidence requirements are reflected in plans and lifecycle activities.
• Provide regional medical leadership to clinical development, evidence generation, publication planning, and lifecycle management.
• Lead or support regional medical initiatives such as advisory boards, medical education, and scientific communications; partner across functions to ensure coordinated execution.
• Identify evidence gaps and partnerships with key medical experts and societies to inform regional strategy and advance patient outcomes.
