Lonza in Visp, Switzerland seeks a Process Expert for MSAT DSP to lead technology transfers and scale-up activities in downstream manufacturing. You will act as the main interface between customers, process development, and manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth implementation of processes.

You will apply structured transfer methods, manage risks, and drive documentation and campaign reporting, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This role is primarily on site.

Qualifikationen

• PhD or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Process Expert in Downstream Processing (DSP) or comparable biopharmaceutical manufacturing role.
• Fluent communication in German and English (minimum B2).
• Strong technical expertise in downstream manufacturing processes, including chromatography and ultrafiltration/diafiltration technologies.

Aufgaben

• Lead cross-functional teams responsible for technology transfers, design, scale-up, and implementation at manufacturing scale.
• Serve as the MSAT Process Expert for Downstream Processing (DSP), interfacing with customers, process development, and manufacturing operations.
• Ensure process scalability and manufacturability for chromatography, UF/DF, and final fill operations.
• Apply technology transfer methodologies, risk management tools, and change control processes.
