Zusammenfassung

CTC Resourcing Solutions seeks a Head of Downstream Processing (DSP) Manufacturing Operation in Visp, Switzerland. This initial 6-month contract leads a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compliant DSP production aligned with GMP and customer requirements.

You will shape operational readiness, drive improvements, and coordinate with MSAT, QA, and other functions, while supporting capital projects and regulatory inspections.

Qualifikationen

• MSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related field.
• 10+ years in biotechnological manufacturing.
• Swiss work permit/residency or Swiss/EU citizenship.
• Fluent English with German at least B2.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Aufgaben

• Lead, develop, and coach a multidisciplinary manufacturing team with responsibility for performance, talent development, workforce planning, hiring, and employee relations.
• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient DSP manufacturing operations delivering production campaigns per safety, quality, GMP, and customer requirements.
• Drive operational excellence by managing performance metrics, resolving issues, leading continuous improvement, and standardizing processes across production.
• Oversee resource and capacity planning, training strategy, and implementation of new technologies to ensure readiness and performance.
• Provide cross-functional leadership and communication with MSAT, Production Support, QA, USP Operations, and other stakeholders.
• Represent manufacturing in customer meetings, audits, and regulatory inspections, ensuring compliance and inspection readiness.
• Approve change controls, risk assessments, and GMP documentation within the unit; maintain quality oversight.
• Support capital investment and facility expansion projects as a subject matter expert; contribute to design, commissioning, and qualification.
