Lonza in Visp, Switzerland, is seeking an MSAT Material Management & Single-Use Systems Expert (m/w/d) 80%-100%. This on-site role focuses on providing SME leadership for Raw Materials and Single-Use Systems within MSAT Microbial, and influencing global manufacturing operations.

You will drive risk assessments, investigations, CAPAs, and change controls in GMP environments, collaborate across functions, support supplier management, and contribute to continuous improvement and regulatory

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, process support, material management, or GMP-regulated environments.
• Strong expertise in Raw Materials, Single-Use Systems, supplier management, and lifecycle management.
• GMP knowledge, risk management methodologies, deviations, CAPAs, and change control processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without formal authority.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with internal and external partners.
• Fluency in English; German is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Act as SME for Raw Materials and Single-Use Systems within MSAT Microbial.
• Lead risk assessments and evaluate material impact on process performance, product quality, and supply continuity.
• Drive material-related investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls in GMP.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, QA, QC, Supply Chain, Engineering, Process Development, and external suppliers.
• Support material lifecycle management, supplier management, and implementation of mitigation strategies to ensure manufacturing reliability.
• Provide technical leadership for material qualification, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive standardization and harmonization of material management and single-use system practices in alignment with local and global teams, ensuring consistent application of best practices across the organization.
• Support regulatory inspections, customer audits, and GMP compliance activities.
