Job summary

District-wide School District is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide intensive behavior support to students during the school day. The RBT will work with teachers and support staff to implement behavior plans and ensure safety and positive outcomes.

Requires high school diploma, ABA and Behavioral Support Interventions training, and RBT certification. Experience with students needing behavior support is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and formal training in Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavioral Support Interventions.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting students with behavior needs.
• RBT certification evidenced by completion of the RBT training and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive behavior support services to students during the school day.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement behavior support plans.
• Meet all requirements of the RBT certification; may provide limited instructional support as needed.
