Job summary

Isaac Elementary School District seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to assess student behavior, develop and refine intervention plans, and ensure progress monitoring district-wide. You will lead FBAs, create BIPs, train staff, and collaborate with parents and agencies to support student success.

The ideal candidate holds a BCBA certification, ABA degree, AZ license, and background clearance, with at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field is required.
  • Verified Course Sequence in ABA must be completed and current.
  • BCBA certification through BACB in good standing is required.
  • Arizona Behavior Analyst license in good standing is required.
  • Background clearance check including fingerprints is required.
  • CPI and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications are required.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license is required.
  • Minimum two years with students with behavioral needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead facilitation and revision of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs).
  • Develop and revise Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and behavior support plans.
  • Design data collection systems to monitor progress of interventions.
  • Train school personnel on data collection and implementation of plans.
  • Conduct fidelity checks on BIPs and support plans.
  • Analyze data to refine behavioral strategies and interventions.
  • Prepare progress summary reports for individual students.
  • Collaborate with behavior specialists, parents, staff, and external agencies.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to IEP development.
  • Model interventions and provide coaching to staff for IEP goals.
