Job summary

Coventry Public Schools seeks two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to support students under the supervision of a district BCBA. The role emphasizes trauma-informed ABA, data collection, and collaboration with teachers and specialists.

The positions are grant-funded and require BACB RBT registration, 40-hour training, and successful completion of the RBT exam. Compensation is hourly, with benefits for eligible staff and immediate start.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registered as BACB RBT with the BACB.
• Completion of 40-hour RBT training.
• BCBA competency checklist verified.
• Submit application through BACB account.
• Pass the RBT exam via Pearson Vue.

Responsibilities

• Support students under supervision of BCBA.
• Model trauma-informed ABA practices.
• Provide feedback to 1:1 staff.
• Reinforce basic skills with instructional materials.
• Collaborate to complete curriculum-based assessments.
• Support generalization across school settings.
• Work with multidisciplinary team to meet needs.
• Safely supervise students in activities.
• Develop and construct instructional materials.
