Job summary

EPAM Systems (Switzerland) GmbH in Lausanne/Aarau is seeking a Cloud and Hosting Lead to own EPAM's Cloud & Hosting domain in Switzerland. You will drive cloud modernization across on‑prem VMware/Hyper‑V, AWS, and AVD/VDI in a hybrid estate, guide offshore teams, and align with security and data residency requirements.

The role demands 7–10 years of infra and cloud engineering, a track record of cloud modernization, and English fluency with German/French a plus.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of infrastructure and cloud engineering experience.
• Proven cloud modernization track record.
• Experience in MSP or outsourcing environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the Cloud & Hosting domain across a hybrid estate including VMware/Hyper-V, AWS, and AVD/VDI.
• Lead transition activities and onboarding of tools; map dependencies and create runbooks.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor offshore teams, and manage BAU operations and incidents.
• Drive cloud optimization with FinOps and capacity tuning.
• Ensure NIS2 compliance and Swiss data residency in cloud operations.
• Collaborate with client leadership for strategic and operational decisions.
