Job summary

Casino Bern is seeking a Head of Service to lead the service area with heart, competence and a natural host mentality. You ensure guests feel comfortable, coordinate restaurant flow, and actively support your team in daily operations.

You will manage operational aspects, train apprentices, contribute to daily planning, and uphold high quality standards. German language skills preferred, with additional languages a plus, and a flexible, resilient attitude for busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in service and leadership experience.
• High quality standards and sense of responsibility.
• Able to work in fast-paced, diverse service environments.

Responsibilities

• Co-organisation and support in the operational management of an assigned gastronomic area.
• Deputising for the deputy restaurant manager in their absence.
• Participation in the planning and design of daily business.
• Co-responsibility for beverage offer planning.
• Care and advice for our diverse, international and local guests.
• Review and optimisation of internal processes and standards.
• Introduction of new team members and training of our apprentices.
