Job summary

Roche in Basel is seeking a Performance Excellence Lead to drive breakthrough improvements across site operations. You will embed Lean and data-driven methodologies to deliver step-change gains, guiding cross-functional teams from scoping through Sustainment.

As a hands-on leader, you will apply OE, Lean, Digital, AI, and data solutions to eliminate waste, improve quality, and sustain value with measurable KPIs while partnering with senior leadership for organizational alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (required) or advanced degree in a relevant technical, engineering, or business field.
• Hands-on OE/Lean mastery with proven ability to lead structured improvements.
• Strong capability to synthesize data into actionable insights and drive adoption of OE, Digital, AI, and data solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured breakthrough initiatives delivering step-change improvements in quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Own end-to-end delivery of Performance Excellence initiatives across all core phases.
• Guide cross-functional teams to solve complex operational challenges with measurable business value.
• Establish and track initiative KPIs to ensure long-term operational continuity and value.
• Coach teams in Lean and OE tools to build sustainable capability and secure leadership buy-in.
