Job summary

Adaptyv Biosystems in Lausanne is seeking a hands-on Lab Operations Technician to keep automated workcells calibrated and stocked. You will prepare buffers, reagents, and reaction mixes, ensure instruments run reliably, and support the scientists whose experiments depend on precise execution.

You will collaborate with the Lab Manager and the operations team to scale processes, maintain safety, and improve inventory workflows.

Qualifications

• Laboratory apprenticeship or equivalent qualification required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Precision in following SOPs and protocols is expected.
• English and French proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run daily and weekly calibration of Hamilton liquid handling systems.
• Calibrate and maintain key instruments including the Echo and pH meters.
• Manage the SPR system: buffer changes, rinsing, routine upkeep.
• Keep lab workcells clean, organized, and calibrated.
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and reaction mixes per SOPs; run weekly production.
• Lead rollout of inventory management and lab operations processes.
• Organize storage, run inventory, and ensure consumables are stocked.
