Job summary

Adaptyv in Lausanne, Switzerland is seeking a hands-on Lab Technician to maintain automation, calibrate key instruments, and manage lab inventories. You will keep workcells and benches clean, stocked, and compliant with SOPs, while supporting scientists with reliable workflows.

The role requires a laboratory apprenticeship or BSc in a related field, strong organization, attention to detail, and a service mindset. English and French language skills are a plus for vendor interactions.

Qualifications

• Laboratory apprenticeship (CFC Laborant/in) or equivalent
• BSc in a relevant field or equivalent
• Experience as a lab technician or similar role preferred

Responsibilities

• Run daily and weekly calibration of Hamilton liquid handling systems.
• Calibrate and maintain key instruments including Echo and pH meters.
• Lead inventory management and lab operations rollout.
• Keep lab clean, safe, stocked, and compliant with SOPs.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance and deep cleans.
