Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Adaptyv Biosystems in Lausanne is seeking a hands-on Lab Operations Technician to keep automated workcells calibrated and stocked. You will prepare buffers, reagents, and reaction mixes, ensure instruments run reliably, and support the scientists whose experiments depend on precise execution.
You will collaborate with the Lab Manager and the operations team to scale processes, maintain safety, and improve inventory workflows.
Adaptyv is building an automated lab that lets AI agents run biology experiments.
We’re entering the era of agentic science where AI models can now design novel proteins, propose hypotheses, and iterate on experimental results. But they can’t run the experiments themselves - that’s still a manual, months-long process. We’re building the infrastructure that gives AI agents access to the physical world.
We are one of the fastest growing biotech companies, trusted by leading biopharmas, frontier AI labs, and the techbio companies pushing the field forward. This is a rare chance to help advance some of the most important work happening in biotech today.
Our automated lab is powered by a deep software + hardware stack: lab instruments worth millions of USD reverse-engineered into API-controllable hardware, dozens of devices orchestrated through complex workflows, full observability on everything that happens in the lab, processing pipelines for messy physical-world data, and AI systems that troubleshoot production results and accelerate assay development.
We’ve been growing rapidly and are hiring for talented people to scale and support the massive demand for AI-driven wet lab experimentation.
Our lab in Lausanne runs thousands of constructs a week through automated workcells, liquid handlers, and binding instruments. That only works if the instruments are calibrated, the buffers are made, the stock is where the system says it is, and the bench is ready when the scientists arrive. You are the person who makes sure it is.
You’ll own the day-to-day upkeep of our automation and instruments, run buffer and reagent production, keep the lab clean, safe, and stocked, and lead the rollout of new inventory management and lab operations processes across the lab. This is a hands‑on, in-the-lab role, working closely with our Lab Manager, the Lab Operations team, and the scientists whose experiments depend on you getting it right.
We are reviewing applicants on a rolling basis.
