Job summary

Adaptyv Biosystems is seeking a senior scientist to own assay quality, data QC and production troubleshooting across the entire experimental pipeline in Lausanne. You will diagnose failures in expression, purification, and data, and translate R&D methods into robust production protocols that junior technicians can execute.

Qualifications

• PhD in protein biochemistry/biophysics or related field required.
• 3–5 years in production or development role at CRO, foundry, or high-throughput lab.
• Experience with high-throughput workflows and 96-well plates.
• Strong mentorship experience with junior scientists.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and data-quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production failures across the full pipeline and identify root causes.
• Develop and document SOPs for new assays as the portfolio expands.
• Mentor and grow the production team, setting quality standards.
• Collaborate with researchers, technicians, and automation engineers on protocol optimization.
• Balance throughput with quality to scale assays effectively.
