Lonza in Basel Stücki, Switzerland, seeks an Automation Engineer to design, program and implement automated drug-product solutions. You will work with automation scientists to develop scalable systems that meet quality standards.

You will lead workstreams, perform root cause analyses, and ensure GxP compliance while collaborating across cross-functional teams in a dynamic, agile environment.

Qualifikationen

Master degree in engineering, computer sciences, life sciences or related field.
Proficient programming in Python and automation-focused languages.
Hands-on experience with liquid handlers is highly desirable.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Aufgaben

Routine sample preparation of drug product with automated liquid handler and maintenance of automation systems.
Design, develop, program, and implement automated solutions using digital platforms.
Act as SME in automation and digitalization to lead workstreams.
Conduct root cause analysis for automation issues and implement CAPA actions.
Ensure automation activities comply with GxP, safety standards, and company policies.
Engage with automation scientists and stakeholders to propose solutions.
