Job summary

Catalyx seeks a Sr. Lab Automation & Digital Laboratory Transformation Lead to join our team on-site in Switzerland. You will bridge lab operations, automation, and IT to connect instruments, automation platforms, and digital systems such as LIMS, ELN and SDMS.

The role requires strong leadership and stakeholder management across scientists, QA, IT and partners. You will define scalable solutions, manage vendor delivery, and translate lab needs into technical requirements, enabling efficient

Qualifications

7+ years in regulated laboratory environments with automation experience.
Hands-on with LIMS/ELN/SDMS and data flows/interfaces.
Strong LabWare LIMS design, configuration, integration and validation.
Knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11.

Responsibilities

Define requirements for network architecture, segmentation, LIMS/SDMS/ELN, scientific layer, AI/ML use cases and integration framework.
Review vendor design architecture, interface documents, functional specifications and configurations.
Serve as External SME and primary POC for customer across vendor landscape.
Assess current laboratory processes, technology, automation and systems landscape.
Map laboratory workflows, systems and data flows and identify gaps and integration opportunities.
Prioritize opportunities based on business value, feasibility and customer needs.
Drive implementation of digital and automation initiatives.
Coordinate activities across time zones and teams.
Review technical architecture and design deliverables to meet customer expectations.
