SonarSource in Geneva seeks an innovative Research Engineer to join the Data & Agentic team, applying cutting‑edge AI, LLMs and agentic techniques to code analysis. You will shape static analysis and scale prototypes into product features used by millions of developers.

You will design ML models, build data pipelines, and collaborate with product teams to deliver practical, high-impact solutions. This role is based in Geneva, with relocation supported for the right candidate.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of industry experience in AI and software engineering.

Aufgaben

• Create & Innovate: brainstorm novel improvements for products and steer research.
• Develop Advanced AI Models: design, prototype, and validate ML models for bug/ vulnerability detection.
• Develop Pragmatic Prototypes: build hands-on prototypes to prove viability and scalability.
• Evaluate & Benchmark: drive rigorous evaluation, define metrics, implement benchmarks.
• Engineer Data Pipelines: build and manage data pipelines for large code datasets.
• Translate Prototypes to Products: collaborate with engineering/product teams to integrate prototypes.
• Communicate and Evangelize: document complex concepts for stakeholders.
