Job summary

Pictet Group is seeking a Software Engineering associate within the Pictet Tech division to bridge business requirements with IT delivery. In a fast-paced, Agile environment, you’ll shape features for transaction management, APIs, and cloud-enabled analytics while coordinating with product managers and architects.

You will translate complex business needs into actionable technical specifications, contribute to solution feasibility, and help maintain documentation and release notes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong technical understanding of software development and banking tech.
• Experience with Avaloq customization is a strong plus.
• Experience with Java or OO languages is desirable.
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) exposure and AI interest.
• Fluency in French and English; Swiss residence required.

Responsibilities

• Interface between business stakeholders and IT to translate requirements into specs.
• Support product discovery and strategy through analysis of challenges and opportunities.
• Translate business needs into functional/non-functional requirements and ensure traceability.
• Collaborate with developers/architects to design API-based, cloud-enabled solutions.
• Coordinate testing activities and maintain release notes.
• Support backlog refinement and sprint planning for timely delivery.
• Monitor production performance and coordinate deployments.
• Analyse incidents (L2/L3) and drive sustainable fixes with DevOps teams.
• Provide stakeholder support in Switzerland and abroad, gathering feedback.
