Sonar is hiring a Software Engineer to join the team building Gitar, an AI‑native code validation platform that automates the full pull request lifecycle. You will blend static and dynamic analysis with large language models to catch bugs, generate fixes, and streamline PRs from creation to merge.

You will work at the intersection of program analysis, developer tools, and AI, delivering scalable solutions that reason about code, address CI failures, and keep latency and cost in check.

Qualifikationen

• PhD or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and correctness/performance.
• Hands-on experience with AI and LLM‑driven development.
• Exposure to program analysis fundamentals: static/dynamic analysis, type systems, or symbolic execution.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers.

Aufgaben

• Design and build program analysis systems across languages and large repos.
• Combine static/dynamic analysis with LLMs to detect bugs and issues.
• Build AI agents and orchestration layers to review PRs and validate fixes against CI.
• Develop indexing and embedding systems to give models context with low latency.
• Own production characteristics: correctness, latency, cost, observability, security.
