Job summary

MyScales in Zürich, Switzerland, seeks an AI DevOps Engineer to ensure our AI solutions run reliably, securely, and auditable across Azure. You will manage hosting, delivery, monitoring, alerting, and log collection while maintaining backups, key rotation, and timely vulnerability responses.

You will work closely with the founder and operate in a fast-moving environment, applying IaC, PostgreSQL expertise, and container-based delivery to keep client AI deployments secure and observable.

Qualifications

• Experience operating web applications in the cloud, ideally Azure.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, containers, automated delivery and IaC.
• Security is a craft: logs, permissions, keys, drills.

Responsibilities

• Own hosting, delivery and monitoring of AI solutions on Azure.
• Extend alerting and central collection of logs.
• Run backups, recovery tests and rotate access keys.
• Close vulnerabilities within fixed deadlines and support external security tests.
• Answer clients' security reviews with evidence.
• Be the second operations person and share on-call duty.

What you will do

• You own hosting, delivery and monitoring of our AI solutions on Azure.
• You extend alerting and the central collection of logs.
• You run backups, recovery tests and the rotation of access keys.
• You close vulnerabilities within fixed deadlines and accompany external security tests.
• You answer our clients’ security reviews with evidence.
• You are the second person with operations access and share the on-call duty with us.

What you bring

• Several years of experience operating web applications in the cloud, ideally on Azure.
• Routine with PostgreSQL, containers, automated delivery and infrastructure as code.
• Security is a craft to you: logs, permissions, keys, emergency drills.
• You know the limits and costs of AI providers, or want to learn them.
• Very good German and English.
