Job summary

MyScales in Switzerland (Zurich) invites an AI Architect to own how AI statements are built and integrated. You will design pipelines, ensure verifiability against documents, and optimize evaluation methods for quality, cost, and throughput.

You’ll shape data flows with processing in Switzerland and the EU, avoiding client data training and coordinating with the team. You will work daily with current models and AI agents in a hands-on environment, collaborating directly with the founder to

Qualifications

• Several years of software development experience.
• Production experience with language models.
• Strong TypeScript and PostgreSQL skills.
• Hands-on with evaluations, structured outputs and retrieval.
• Experience with AI providers’ costs and limits.

Responsibilities

• Design processing pipelines and decide model handoffs.
• Ensure statements can be checked against document passages.

Job description

Our AI solutions work where every statement has to be right: in contracts, financial figures and legal questions. As AI Architect you own how they are built, and you turn language models into processes clients rely on.

What you will do

• You design our processing pipelines: which model handles which step, what gets checked, and what happens when a provider fails.
• You make sure every statement our AI solutions produce can be checked against a passage in the document.
• You build the evaluations we use to measure quality, cost and throughput, and you decide by the numbers.
• You define in the architecture how data flows: processing in Switzerland and the EU, no training on client data.
• You develop alongside the team and review changes before they go to production.

What you bring

• Several years of software development experience, including at least one system with language models in production.
• Solid TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with evaluations, structured outputs and retrieval, and a feel for the costs and limits of AI providers.
• You work with AI agents in development every day and know their limits.
• Test-driven development is part of your craft.
• Very good German and English.
