Zusammenfassung

Artificialy SA in Switzerland is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design and operate the cloud infrastructure behind our AI and software solutions. You will own Azure environments from architecture to deployment and automation, working with clients, project managers, software and AI teams.

Based in Lugano or Zurich, the role combines hands-on cloud engineering, CI/CD, governance and security with building scalable ML pipelines and production-ready AI workloads.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or related fields.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in production environments.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience designing and operating Azure landing zones, governance, and access models for production environments.
• Knowledge of Azure networking, identity, security, governance, and monitoring services.
• Experience with container technologies and orchestration tools (Docker, Azure Container Apps, or similar).
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in English.

Aufgaben

About the Role

Ready to build the cloud infrastructure behind the next generation of AI?

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer who will design and operate the cloud infrastructure behind our AI and software solutions. You will work closely with clients, project managers, software engineers, and AI teams, taking ownership of Azure environments from architecture and deployment to automation and operations.

What you’ll do:

• Contribute to the migration and modernization of applications and services to Azure, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability solutions, and deployment automation, supporting both enterprise applications and AI/ML workloads.
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers and infrastructure teams to enable production-ready AI solutions, including MLOps workflows and Azure AI services.
• Work directly with clients (both remotely and in-person), combining strong technical expertise with excellent interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with observability tools, logging, metrics, tracing, and monitoring (e.g. Azure Monitor, Application Insights, OpenTelemetry).
• Understanding of scalability, resilience, disaster recovery, and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience supporting ML or AI workloads in production
• Experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Foundry, or Azure OpenAI Service
• Background in manufacturing or engineering domains
• German language is a plus
