Job summary

Etel, based in Môtiers, Switzerland, seeks a motivated accounts payable assistant to support supplier invoices, payments and expense claims within the Finance team. You will help ensure timely, accurate processing and compliance with internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in accounting, is fluent in French and English, and is proficient with Excel and ERP systems; knowledge of Swiss GAAP/IFRS is required, with experience in an industrial environment considered a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Fluent in French and English, written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Enter, review, and monitor supplier invoices and expenses.
• Support supplier payments and monitor due dates to optimize cash flow.
• Process employee expense claims and integrate into accounting system.
• Ensure accurate allocation of invoices and expenses in ERP.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support continuous improvement of accounts payable processes.
