Etel S.A. is seeking an Accountant Assistant – AP (50%) to join the Finance team in Môtiers NE. You will support accounts payable activities, review supplier invoices, and assist with payments while ensuring compliance with Swiss GAAP and IFRS.

Qualifikationen

• Enter, review, and monitor supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulations.
• Support the preparation of supplier payments and monitor payment due dates to optimize cash flow management.
• Manage employee expense claims, including verification, approval, and integration into the accounting system.
• Ensure accurate accounting allocation of supplier invoices and expense claims within the ERP system.
• Participate in accounts payable reconciliations and related control activities.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal control requirements and accounting procedures.
• Support the continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and workflows.

Your MissionAs a member of the Finance team, you will support the accounts payable activities and contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day accounting operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment-related queries

Provide administrative and accounting support to the Finance team as required

Your Profile

• Commercial CFC or equivalent qualification
• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in an industrial environment
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Experience with an ERP system would be an advantage
• Basic knowledge of Swiss GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
• Fluent in French with a good command of English, both written and spoken
