Etel S.A., a world-leading motion control components company based in Môtiers NE, is hiring an Accountant Assistant – AP for a 50% position. The role supports accounts payable and day-to-day accounting within an international environment.

You will manage supplier invoices, payment runs, expense claims, and ERP allocations, contributing to month-end closing and process improvements. Fluent French and good English are required.

Qualifikationen

• Commercial CFC or equivalent qualification.
• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience with an ERP system would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Swiss GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Fluent in French with a good command of English, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Enter, review, and monitor supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulations.
• Support the preparation of supplier payments and monitor payment due dates to optimize cash flow management.
• Manage employee expense claims, including verification, approval, and integration into the accounting system.
• Ensure accurate accounting allocation of supplier invoices and expense claims within the ERP system.
• Participate in accounts payable reconciliations and related control activities.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal control requirements and accounting procedures.
• Support the continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment-related queries.
• Provide administrative and accounting support to the Finance team as required.
