Donna Cona is proud to be recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate Proposal Writer/Lead to join our high-performing team in Ottawa.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with other Proposal Leads, Proposal Coordinators, Recruiters, Sales Executives, and candidates to develop industry-leading resumes and compelling proposal responses to meet the needs of our government and private sector clients. Your ability to combine research, technical writing, time management and meticulous attention to detail will be the foundation of your success.

Proposal Writer will be required to:

• Develop high-quality RFP responses for a variety of public and private sector clients;
• Manage and prioritize multiple RFP responses concurrently;
• Write and format resumes and grids for Government of Canada proposals;
• Collaborate with resources to develop clear, persuasive content;
• Lead proposal development activities, including scheduling and coordinating the team delivering the RFP response; and
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of proposals, resumes and grids to ensure compliance, accuracy and quality.

The ideal candidate has:

• Proven experience developing responses to Government of Canada RFPs (including TBIPS, TSPS, SBIPS, THS, ProServices);
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience producing professional technical documents;
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, compelling content; and
• Eligibility for Government of Canada security clearance.
