A large company located in the east end of Montreal is looking for a Warehouse Manager. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the incumbent will be responsible for the company's internal and external warehouses.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all warehouse operations supporting distribution. Benchmarks the organization to the market by tracking relevant KPI's to measure and track performance, and drive continuous improvement. Oversees periodic reviews with warehouse vendors to review performance, develop necessary improvement plans and communicate upcoming requirements.
• Manages and maintains the accuracy of all finished goods and pallet inventory.
• Oversee the selection of warehouses. Evaluate potential suppliers' skills and processes against requirements. Conduct all RFP's for warehouse services. Negotiate rates, terms of service and contracts with existing and potential warehouse vendors.
• Contribute to the development of the organization's distribution network strategy. Coordinate with other supply chain functions to implement and maintain optimal organization and operations.
• Ensure warehouse operations are in full compliance with quality assurance requirements, including: Good distribution practices, hold and release requirements, trace/recall execution and reporting, and sanitation requirements.
• Collaborate with logistics and customer service functions on transportation-related issues, as well as any other internal functions requiring warehousing services or expertise.
• In collaboration with the corporate logistics function, develop and implement policies, guidelines and procedures for the warehousing and transportation function.
• Define strategy and goals for warehousing savings projects for the supply chain group.

Skills and qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in a related field coupled with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
