OMNI Television, Canada’s only multilingual and multicultural television station, is seeking a passionate, team-oriented, and innovative Part-time Temporary Assignment Editor with a can-do attitude to support newsgathering for special projects and weekends in our Vancouver, BC location. This is a part-time role that will help support efforts in resource allocation and editorial focus on special projects and daily news gathering.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong knowledge of daily national news and broader issues impacting the communities we serve. You will be able to work collaboratively, mindful of OMNI’s diverse audiences. Sound editorial judgment and exceptional communication skills are essential to produce impactful content.
To protect our people, brand, and assets, a pre-employment background check will be conducted. Additional checks such as credit and driver’s abstract may be required depending on the role.
