As an engineer on the mobile team, you will be working with a diverse set of engineers to enhance the Canada Mobile Platform. You will contribute to improving software quality, reducing manual effort and accelerating development cycles while gaining valuable experience in automation testing and release engineering.

• AWS: S3, EC2, Lambda, Route53, Security Groups, IAM roles
• Monitoring Tool: Splunk, New Relic, Cloudwatch
• Testing Framework: MockitoJUnitRunner, Espresso, XCTest

As a new Software Engineer, you’ll join the Tech Development Program (TDP), which takes place over your first year with us and involves hands-on learning, development, and networking.

You may work in front-end, back-end, full-stack, or mobile development, with final team alignment to be discussed during the hiring process.

• Work as part of a dynamic team throughout the software development life cycle
• Collaborate with designers and analysts to implement enhancements or new applications
• Develop code to meet story acceptance criteria
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure high-level quality output
• Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality, and time to market imperatives
• Maintain records to document program development, and revisions
• Provide third-level support of software solution as needed

• Have obtained a Bachelor’s degree or higher between January 2026 and September 2026
• Good communication, presentation, and writing skills
• Good understanding of testing fundamentals
• Able to work within a team setting and actively participate and collaborate in team discussions
• Basic knowledge of Android or iOS development with willingness to learn both platforms

• Experience in front end mobile development
• Experience with backend technologies such as Python, Spring Boot, Node, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud etc.
• Experience with Java programming development / Spring
• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD, microservices, API design / integration
• Experience with version control technology i.e. Git
