A local non-profit organization in Calgary seeks a volunteer Director with financial expertise to join their Board. This role focuses on guiding non-profit operations and reviewing financial materials monthly. Ideal candidates will have an accounting designation. By volunteering, you'll help shape the future of jazz in Calgary and contribute to a vibrant music community, connecting with other music lovers and supporting youth music education opportunities.

- Experience with accounting for charitable arts organizations is desirable, but not essential.

- Review financial materials with the Finance Committee monthly.
- Report to the Board and provide guidance as necessary.

JazzYYC is looking for new volunteer Director to join our Board!We have an urgent need for financial expertise to help guide our non-profit operations. Forthe right candidate, this role offers a potential path to becoming our Treasurer.Our bookkeeper prepares all entries, invoicing, payments, the financial statements, GST returns, payroll returns and an annual AGLC report. Certification or Education Required
