Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Canada is seeking a part-time Biomedical Scientist for its Immunology and Neuroimmunology lab. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic tests and ensure smooth lab operations. This role requires registration with the Health Care Professions Council and is ideal for those with experience in Immunology. The position offers 32 hours of work per week, including weekends and public holidays after training. Applications are encouraged from all sections of the community.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be registered as a Biomedical Scientist with the Health Care Professions Council.
  • Experience of working within an Immunology or Neuroimmunology diagnostic laboratory or knowledge of techniques used in the field would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out day to day technical operations within the Immunology and Neuroimmunology lab.
  • Perform a range of manual and automated diagnostic tests.
  • Rotate round sections of the laboratory.
