An environmental monitoring organization is seeking a Data Technician in Fort McMurray, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting system checks, calibrating equipment, and maintaining accurate documentation. A post-secondary education in environmental science and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience are required. This full-time, permanent position may require overtime based on operational needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot analytical or electronic systems.
  • Attention to detail while handling sensitive information.

Responsabilités

  • Perform daily system checks for analyzer and sensor operation.
  • Conduct monthly calibrations and routine maintenance on analyzers.
  • Troubleshoot analyzer and data-acquisition issues in the field.
