As a part of Magnet Forensics, you can expect to make a difference in the world, no matter what role you play. You’ll be supported through learning and development, not to mention an incredible team with unbelievable talent and integrity.

If you think you would be the right person to join our team working towards this goal, we would love to hear from you!

Your Role

This role reports into the Manager, Professional Services, working within the Global Sales Engineering team. The Professional Services Consultant is tasked with the successful delivery and execution of implementation projects for the Magnet Forensics portfolio of products. This position manages complex engagements, working closely with customers to understand their pain points and then delivering a solution that resolves those challenges. The position is responsible for the installation and configuration of the software, the onboarding of users, and the initial support of products during acceptance testing. These services are delivered onsite or remote at the discretion of the customer.

What You Will Accomplish

  • Act as the main point of contact for the customer, providing direction and guidance during the implementation of the product

  • Participate in internal technical discussions with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales sharing technical insight and feedback from the field
  • Develop and maintain in-depth product and industry knowledge by becoming a subject matter expert on the Magnet Forensics portfolio of products
  • Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting the features and benefits to potential clients in a clear and concise manner, as needed
What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for someone who checks off most, but not all, of the boxes listed in “skills and experiences”. It’s more important to us to find candidates who can display indicators of success through skills they have developed and experiences they have been a part of, than to find folks who have ‘been there, done that”. We want to be part of your development journey, and we’ll learn as much from you as you learn from us.

There are some must haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Previous experience in networking, servers and virtualization, or cloud computing
  • Passion for understanding customers’ business goals and challenges and identifying creative solutions to those challenges
  • Deep knowledge of network-based communications and the configuration of common networking products including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Ability to perform server builds and configure server operating systems
  • Strong understanding of private cloud and SaaS solutions
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies, including familiarity with defect tracking tools (for example, Jira) and source control tools (for example, GitHub or Azure DevOps)
  • Familiar with customer relationship management and ticketing systems (for example, Salesforce and Service Cloud), and professional services automation software (for example, Certinia)
  • Excellent consultation and relationship management skills with outstanding attention to detail

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Knowledge of digital forensics and digital investigation is an asset
  • Proficiency in Python programming is an asset
  • Implementation experience or previous experience in a consulting role is an asset
  • Up to 60% travel required to meet the responsibilities of the position
Compensation & Benefits

Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. If you are applying for this role outside of the primary location and you are selected for an interview, the Talent Acquisition Partner can share more information with you. • MIN: £59,500 - MID: £85,000 - MAX: £102,000 GBP
