• Ensure all transcriptions comply with legal and medical regulations, including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
• Communicate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff when clarification is needed on specific details.
• Meet daily/weekly transcription deadlines while maintaining quality and precision.
• Maintain organized records of transcribed documents for future reference.

• Proficient in medical terminology, transcription procedures, and knowledge of medical office procedures.
• Excellent listening skills with the ability to understand varied accents and dialects.
• Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy (minimum of 60 WPM).
• Proficient in transcription software and word processing applications.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an asset.

• Previous experience in medical transcription is preferred but not required.
• Experience in the healthcare field (e.g., medical assistant, nurse, or other related positions) is beneficial.
• Prior experience in transcription or similar roles will be considered an advantage.
