Google Cloud Specialist
Job summary
Onico Solutions is looking for a Google Cloud Specialist to manage and support corporate Google applications including Google Drive and Gmail. This role involves transitioning users to cloud services, providing technical support, and maintaining documentation. The position is remote and contracted for a minimum of 6 months. Ideal candidates should have strong technical skills relating to Google Apps administration and application security practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in administering Google business applications including Gmail and Google Drive.
- Familiarity with application administration concepts and procedures.
- Understanding of cloud technology and security management.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Google Cloud applications.
- Transition users to Google Drive and provide technical support.
- Conduct research and assist in monitoring solutions for system improvements.
Skills
The Google Cloud Specialist will administer and support Google business applications such as Google Cloud/Drive, Gmail, Docs, Calendar and Spam filters.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for technical administration of corporate Google applications
- Transitioning users to Google Drive using their cloud migration tool
- Provide technical support
- Conduct research and assist Manager with recommendations for system improvements through the proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of solutions
- Create and maintain thorough documentation related to administrative configurations, procedures and modifications of applicable corporate applications
- Assist the Application Development team by performing applications testing and application deployments
- Manage installations, patching and monitoring of development, testing and production application environments
- Manage incident queue for business solutions team to ensure that all tickets are promptly assigned to appropriate team members and are resolved in a timely manner
- Publish website analytics to key company stakeholders
Requirements:
- Google Apps administration (Gmail, Cloud, Docs, Calendar)
- Google Analytics
- End user support for related applications
- Administration of SMTP and other email-related services
- Administration of major enterprise applications (non-Google)
- Application administration concepts and procedures
- Application security best practices
- Active Directory security management
- Microsoft Windows Server Operating System
- Internet/Cloud technology concepts
This is a minimum 6 month contract work from home position.
