This facility is currently undergoing a large-scale redevelopment, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking healthcare environment. We’re offering contract roles across multiple units with potential for extension or permanent hire.
- Assisting with Delivery: Help with labor induction, administer pain relief (like epidurals), coach pushing, and assist physicians/midwives during delivery.
- Newborn Care: Perform initial newborn assessments (like Apgar scores) and provide immediate postpartum care.
- Documentation: Accurately chart patient history, procedures, and data in electronic health records.
- Patient Monitoring: Continuously check mother's vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rate/well-being.
- Updated Resume
- Active BCCNM license
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NRP/FHS Certificate
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience in a relevant field in Canada
