We are seeking a talented Senior Construction Estimator who not only assesses costs but also wishes to get involved in project management and actively contribute to expanding our order book. • Actively consult the SEAO platform to identify and analyze public project opportunities.
• Prepare complete and competitive submissions for commercial, institutional, and residential projects.
• Take charge of and lead pre‑closing and closing submission meetings.
• Perform necessary site visits for submission preparation.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and be able to assist or replace them as needed.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain the best prices.

• Competitive Compensation: An attractive salary scale ranging from $100,000 to $130,000 per year (depending on your experience and skills).
• Key and Versatile Role: Get involved in both estimation and project management (offering diverse tasks and stimulating challenges).
• Direct Impact: An essential player in acquiring new mandates and the expansion strategy.
• Stability: This is a permanent, full‑time position.
• Flexibility: Telework may be considered after a successful integration period at our Laval offices.

• Education: Hold a College Diploma (DEC) in Building Estimation and Valuation Techniques, or a DEC in Architecture.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in estimation within the public construction sector.
• Software: Proficiency in Excel, L'Estimateur Général software, and good knowledge of Plan Swift.
• Technical Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of BSDQ operations.
• Certifications: Possess a valid ASP Construction card.
• Mobility: Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license (for site visits).
• Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills, leadership, sound judgment, and a great sense of initiative.
