Job Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable clerk to help on a Temporary Basis.

Duties

• Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and payment application.
• Perform account reconciliation and collections to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Analyze customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions and payment histories.
• Collaborate with the accounts payable department to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Negotiate payment terms with clients when necessary to facilitate collections.
• Provide excellent customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage for data entry and reporting.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in account reconciliation and account analysis.
• Familiarity with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks or Sage.
• Excellent math skills for accurate financial calculations.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with clients regarding payment terms.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on building positive relationships.
• Proficient phone etiquette for professional communication with clients and vendors.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
