Résumé du poste
A provincial government in Canada is seeking an Aquatic Invasive Species Inspector to prevent invasive mussel introductions. The role involves inspecting watercraft, educating the public, and ensuring compliance with protocols. Candidates must hold a degree in a related field, possess a BC Class 5 Driver’s License, and complete a Criminal Record Check. The position demands physical capability, outdoor work in all weather, and includes varied shifts. Successful candidates will receive training and work in collaboration with conservation agencies.

Qualifications
- Possess valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence with no more than 9 points.
- Valid Occupational First Aid (OFA) level 1 certification.
- Successfully complete Criminal Record Check and Enhanced Security Screening.
Responsabilités
- Inspect watercraft at provincial inspection stations.
- Provide outreach and education to the public.
- Issue mussel prevention orders and perform decontaminations.
