Story Behind the Need
Business group: Global Banking & Markets Engineering (GBME) - Client & Data Management
Project: Client Analytics Reporting (CAP)
Client Analytics Platform (CAP) is an internal reporting tool designed to collect, analyze, and present key financial data for the Business Banking division. It provides insights into asset balances, regulatory capital allocations, and business line data.
CAP is primarily used by bankers and senior executives to evaluate client growth, monitor revenue trends, and support strategic decision-making. It also plays a critical role in financial management processes such as fund transfer pricing, cost of funds analysis, and liquidity coverage ratio assessments. Through its robust analytics and reporting capabilities, CAP enables comprehensive business management and enhances visibility into profitability and resource allocation across client portfolios.

Candidate Value Proposition:

Must have skills:
• 10+ years of experience working in a similar capacity as a BA/BSA
• 7 + years of recent project experience writing intermediate to advanced queries using SQL.
• 7+ years of experience as Business Data analyst working with large sets of data including data mapping and Big Data
• 3+ years' finance/accounting background
• 3 + years of experience with revenue reporting and P&L

Nice to have:
• Power BI is a strong asset.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred
• Experience with automated testing.
• Agile/Scrum methodology understanding / worked in an Agile environment
• Previous recent experience working with Top 5 Banks/FI

Soft Skills Required:
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle different user groups
• Proactive and a self-starter

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required.
• Financial courses or certification completion is an asset.
• Prior courses taken in Mathematics (statistical analysis and discreet mathematics)
