Required: Grade 12 diploma or equivalent and strong communication/interpersonal skills.

The Youth Mentor will build supportive relationships with youth, assist with everyday needs and resources, co-facilitate recreational and wellness activities, maintain professional boundaries, respond to challenging situations, and work collaboratively with program staff. The position uses harm-reduction, trauma-informed, youth-centred and strength-based approaches.
Applicants require a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Youth work or mentorship experience is an asset. Education in youth work, social sciences or a related field is also an asset.
A valid Saskatchewan drivers licence with a clean drivers abstract and a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search are required. First Aid/CPR, ASIST and Mental Health First Aid are assets.
Hours: WednesdaySunday, 3:00 p.m.10:30 p.m.
Wage: $17.50$20.00/hour
