Ottawa Police Service is seeking a Youth In Policing Initiative Coordinator for the Winter Term. This role supports the Youth Section by supervising YIPI students, planning activities, and coordinating with OPS supervisors and community partners to ensure smooth program delivery.
The position requires at least one semester of post-secondary education and experience with youth projects. Work terms include 12–35 hours per week, with some evenings, and pay at $23.35 per hour.

The Youth in Policing Initiative is a Provincially funded program for youth attending a secondary school program. Participants will be provided with an opportunity to learn about the Ottawa Police Service, our community, and to develop new skills to increase their future employability. The program will allow students to consider policing as a viable career in the future.
The YIPI Coordinator supervises the YIPI Students for the duration of the placement.

The Coordinator may be required to work intermittently from November to December and/or full time one to two weeks before the start of the program to assist with administrative duties and planning related to the program. Program schedule and hours/week to be determined.
