Orica in Princeton, BC is seeking a Yardperson / MMU Trainee to support blast crews with bulk product delivery and assist on bench operations. This entry-level role offers hands-on learning in a dynamic mining environment and a 14 days on / 14 days off schedule.
You will work outdoors in all weather, wear PPE, and grow toward an MMU Operator path. A valid Class 5 driving license is required, with the potential to obtain a Class 3 license, and you must be physically able to lift up to 70 lbs.

The Yardperson provides bulk product delivery support to blast crews and assistance to crews for on bench operations.
Work Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off (Drive-IN / Drive-OUT - NOT a Camp site, lodging not provided)
Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
Interest in obtaining a Class 3 driver's license and developing a career pathway toward an MMU Operator position
1+ years of experience in construction, mining, or a related field
Experience with equipment, materials, and supplies used on construction or industrial job sites
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation to and from the work site
Physically able to lift up to 70 lbs.
Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and quality workmanship
Willingness to learn, take on new responsibilities, and grow within the organization
