Job summary

City of Edmonton Yardworker - Stores supports Parks and Roads Services by managing end-to-end purchasing, inventory control, and store operations across district yards.

You will perform SAP and Ariba-based procurement, stock forecasting, safety checks, and coordination of transfers and shipments while training peers to ensure coverage during vacations and peak periods.

Qualifications

• Completion of the 10th grade or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in store and yard operations.
• Certifications in SAP-ECC, SAP Ariba Invoicing Materials, or SAP Ariba Buying Services.

Responsibilities

The Parks and Roads Services Branch is looking for a dedicated Yardworker - Stores to join our Branch Integrated Support Services team. Operating independently without direct supervision, you will be the driving force behind ensuring your store is fully stocked so you can provide PPE, small tools, and consumables for our branch. You will take pride in keeping our district yards secure, fully operational, and compliant with safety standards. By balancing meticulous record-keeping with active, day-to-day facility management, your work will directly ensure our field operations crews have exactly what they need to succeed.
