Cooper Equipment Rentals is seeking a customer-focused team member for our Bolton, ON warehouse. You will wash and organize equipment, operate hand and power tools, and assist with loading/unloading while following safety policies. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash/clean equipment.
• Organize equipment in the warehouse and yard.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain clean facilities and organize spaces.
• Assist with loading/unloading equipment.
• Check equipment for damage and report issues.
• Support coworkers and customers as needed.
• Assist with testing and servicing climate-control equipment (training provided).

What You'll Be Doing

• Wash / clean equipment.
• Organize equipment in the warehouse (racking) / yard.
• Comfortable with using hand and power tools (i.e. a grinder).
• Willing and able to follow company safety policies & work safe practices / procedures.
• Maintain clean physical facilities.
• Help loading and unloading equipment.
• Check equipment for damage upon return, report damage and receive / verify returned equipment.
• Always willing to offer a helping hand with your co-workers / customers.
• Testing, servicing and storage of climate control equipment & accessories (hoses, regulators, ducts, etc.. (training provided)).

What You'll Bring to the Team

• Self-starter, very customer-service oriented and works well in a team environment.
• G drivers license with a clean or satisfactory driver's abstract (no more than 3 demerit points).
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
• Comfortable with computers & using cellphone applications.
• Must be able to lift up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude is an asset.
• Must be comfortable working in warehouse & outdoors.
• Excellent problem-solving & organization skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.
