Job summary

Cooper Equipment Rentals Limited is hiring for a warehouse/yard position in Bolton, Ontario. You will wash, organize, and store equipment while following safety policies and maintaining a clean facility.

Ideal candidates are customer-service oriented, able to lift 50 lbs, and comfortable with computers and using mobile apps. Forklift experience and mechanical aptitude are assets; the role offers steady year-round employment and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Self-starter, very customer-service oriented and works well in a team environment.
• G drivers license with a clean or satisfactory driver's abstract (no more than 3 demerit points).
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
• Comfortable with computers & using cellphone applications.
• Must be able to lift up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude is an asset.
• Must be comfortable working in warehouse & outdoors.
• Excellent problem-solving & organization skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Wash / clean equipment.
• Organize equipment in the warehouse (racking) / yard.
• Comfortable with using hand and power tools (i.e. a grinder).
• Follow company safety policies & work safe practices / procedures.
• Maintain clean physical facilities.
• Help loading and unloading equipment.
• Check equipment for damage upon return, report damage and receive / verify returned equipment.
• Always willing to offer a helping hand with your co-workers / customers.
• Testing, servicing and storage of climate control equipment & accessories (hoses, regulators, ducts, etc.. (training provided)).
