Job summary

RONA is seeking a Lumberyard team member in Charlottetown, PEI to assist customers, load materials, and maintain a safe, organized department. You will help with unloading trucks, stocking, pricing, and keeping the yard tidy, contributing to a positive customer experience.

The role requires physical ability to lift 25 pounds and knowledge of building materials is an asset. Join a team focused on service, teamwork, and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for lumber and building material needs.
• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently.
• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided.
• Assist with daily upkeep of the department including off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers.
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
