Job summary

RONA is seeking a Lumberyard Associate in Charlottetown to join our dedicated team. You will provide expert advice to customers, help them select lumber and building materials, and ensure a safe, organized yard environment.

Role involves loading products, checking invoices, and assisting with daily department upkeep. Candidates should be able to lift 25 pounds and have knowledge of building materials as an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for lumber and building material needs.
• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently.
• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided.
• Assist with daily upkeep of the department including off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers.
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
