Job summary

RONA in Moncton, NB is seeking a Lumberyard Associate to join our dedicated team. You will help customers with expert advice on lumber and building materials, assist with loading, and ensure invoices match products.

You’ll contribute to daily yard upkeep, safety and organization, and support opening/closing duties as needed to keep the store running smoothly. We value reliability, physical ability, and knowledge of building materials.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Knowledge of building materials is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for their lumber and building material needs
• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently
• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided
• Assist with the daily upkeep of the department including off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
